Virgil E. Snipes, 43, of 2106 Utah St., died yesterday at Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dollie Green Snipes; a son, Richard Dean Snipes; two daughters, Mrs. Faye DeLong of Wilson, NC, and Mrs. Linda Ogletree of Savannah; two brothers, Barney Snipes of Miami, Fla., and Sgt. James S. Snipes of Fort Sill, OK', six sisters, Mrs. Nell Harris of Statesboro, Mrs. Clyde Hendrix of Claxton and Mrs. Jewell Langley, Mrs. Grace Brady and Mrs. Joyce Greenway, all of Augusta; his stepmother, Mrs. J. J. Snipes, and several nephews and nieces.
