ORPHA MYHRE DIES;
RITES ARE PENDING
Orpha Myhre, 69, passed away in Lakeside Sunday night.
Mrs. Myhre was born Feb. 7, 1897, in Trenton, Mo. When 10 years old she moved with her parents from Missouri to the Flathead and made her home for a time in the Rhodes Mill area.
In 1922 she was married to Oscar Myhre and was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, 18 years ago. Mrs. Myhre had made her home since in the Flathead and West Lake Shore. Prior to moving to Lakeside two months ago to assist in the care of her twin sister, Mrs. Martha Stevens, she had made her home in Kalispell.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Myhre was preceded in death by two sons, John and Jake.
She is now survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helga Blackwell of Kalispell and Mrs. James (Marguerite) Foot of Columbia Falls; two sons, George Myhre of Libby and Bob Myhre of Columbia Falls; 15 grandchildren; and her twin sister, Mrs. Martha Stevens of Lakeside.
Service arrangements will be announced by Waggener & Campbell Funeral Home.

RITES FRIDAY
Funeral services for Orpha L. Myhre, widow of Oscar Myhre, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from Waggener & Campbell Chapel with Rev. Charles Nowlen, pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.
