MRS. STEVENS DIES;
RITES SATURDAY

Martha L. Stevens, 70, died in Kalispell Tuesday evening. Mrs. Stevens was born Feb. 7, 1897, in Missouri.
As a young girl in about 1904 she moved with her family to Montana, settling south of Big Arm. On July 4, 1917, she was married to Charles Stevens and with her husband made her home in the Flathead area until 1935 when they moved to Lakeside where she had made her home since.
Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, July 1, 1962. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Mrs. Orpha Myhre, in November of last year.
She is now survived by one daughter, Mrs. Grace Nutter of Belgrade; seven sons, Lloyd R. Stevens, Evergreen; Neil Stevens, Lakeside; Bob Stevens, Detroit, Mich.; Charles, Lewis R. and Douglas, all of Portland, Ore., and Glen Stevens, Bigfork; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stevens have been set for Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Waggener & Campbell Chapel with J. Torrance Harvey, pastor of the Lakeside Community Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
