Her first two children, Eugene Nathan Boone and Tom Boone were children of she and John Nathan Boone, Jr. She later married Carl Roscoe Barks at Colorado Springs, CO. She lived in Florence, CO. prior to moving to Colorado Springs, Co. She moved to Delta, CO. 50 years ago. She received her nursing degree from Mesa State College, Grand Junction, CO in 1974 and worked as a RN for many years. She is survived by daughters: Clara Wilkins, Nicki Barks both of Delta, CO, sons: Carl Barks of Delta, CO, Eugene & Carol Boone of Grand Junction, CO, Tom Boone of Florence, CO, brothers: Robert Garcia of Denver, CO, Eugene & wife Bina Carcia of Florence,CO., sisters: Celia Raines of Colorado Springs, CO, Sally Monette of Delta, CO. ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Carl Barks, her former spouse, John Nathan Boone, Jr.;her sister Mary Tyree and her brother Joe Garcia. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
