Lewis G Warrick, 62. of Seymour, dled at 4 p.m Friday In the Jackson County Hospital In Seymour.
He was a retired trucker and was affiliated with the Stuart, Florida, City Police Department from 1975 to 1980. He was with the Rushvllle Civil Defense In the 1940's.
He had lived In Seymour since May of 1982. He had spent most of his life In Rush County, however. He left here In 1960 and returned In 1980 when he stayed about three months.
Born in Rush County February 13, 1920, be was the son of Charles Warrick and Vera Noble Warrick. He was a member of the Rushville Eagles, Legion and Moose and the VFW In Connersvllle. He was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas witn the army.
His wife, Lillian Wllson, died In May 1978 in Florida.
Survivors include one son. Danny Warrick, R.R. 1; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Marjorie Ann) Nienoff, R.R. 1, Arlington and Mrs. Mike (Nancy) Grocox of Rushvllle; five brothers, the oldest two of which are twins. They are Morris Warrick, R.R. 1 Glenwood and Forest Warrick of Decatur, Illinois. The other
brothers are Estle Warrick of Homer, Paul Warrick of Sexton and Charles Warrick of Jeftersonville; two sisters, Frances McCorkle of Carthage and Mrs. Elmer (Reba) Hall of Stuart, Florida, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, one sister and two brothers.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster and Sons Mortuary in Rushville. The Rev. Gary Klrchoff will be in charge of the service. Burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Moster and Sons Mortuary, Rushville, from 2 to 9 p m. Sunday. The family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
