Annie Alexander Driggers, 85, of Summerville, widow of Wilbert V. Driggers, died Friday morning at her residence.Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2001 at 2 o'clock in Salem Baptist Church, Summerville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Hospice Care of Choice, 410 Mill Street, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o'clock this evening.Born on February 14, 1916, in Berkeley County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Morrer N. Alexander and Fannie Lamb Alexander.She attended Berkeley County Schools. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.Surviving are: one son, Vertice L. Driggers; 3 daughters, Vernelle Mundy, Sharyn Howell and Norine Judy all of Summerville; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Arrangements by: JAMES A.
