Mr. Alexander was born at Berkeley County, a son of the late Moorer M. Alexander
and Fannie Lamb Alexander, He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Surviving is: his widow, Mrs. Isadora Burbage Alexander of Summerville; three sons, Ralph Alexander, Hubert Alexander and Arthur Alexander, all of Summerville; six daughters, Mrs. James Clark of Moncks Corner, Mrs. Philip N. Cinco of Houston, Tex. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, Mrs. David Clark, Mrs. Clyde Mizell and Miss Mildred Alexander, all of Summerville; a brother, Edward Alexander Summerville; two sisters, Mrs. Wilbert Driggers and Mrs. Bert J. Driggers, both of Summerville: 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Alexander was layed to rest in the Alexander family cemetery in Berkeley Co. South Carolina
