William Bega
William S. Bega, 54, of 1416 Maple St., died Saturday in Community Medical Center. His widow is the former Anna Rita Shimo.
A lifelong resident of Scranton, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Morozech Bega. He was a quality control manager for the Suckle Corp. and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church. He was a member of the Scranton Elks Club, an Army veteran and a Boy Scouts committee chairman. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America.
Also surviving are two sons, William G. and Michael B., at home; one daughter, Ann Marie, at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Stuchiak, Scranton; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Ave., with services at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church by Msgr. Charles J. Zazzera.
Viewing, Monday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
