OBITUARY - Mr. Morse, Prominent in Citrus Work Yuma-Grover Morse, 74, a retired citrus grower, died in the Parkview Baptist Hospital here yesterday. He was a resident of both Somerton and Lake Martinez. Services will be at 2 PM tomorrow in Dixon's Yuma Mortuary. Burial will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary between 5 and 9 PM today. Mr. Morse was born in Dyer, Ark., and came to the Yuma area in 1926. He was past president of the Yuma Mesa Fruit Growers Association; president of the Unit B Water Users group; and a member of the Elks Lodge and the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Louisa; three sons, Oscar of Yuma, Rollie of San Diego, and Elbert of Somerton; a sister, Polly Stroud of Modesto, Calif.; a brother, Floyd, of Modesto; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
