Thelma O. Leibee daughter of Mary Ann and Frank M. Leibee was born in Shelby, Nebraska on March 27, 1902.

She lived in Shelby until the age of seven, when she moved with her family to Osceola. She graduated from the Osceola High School with the class of 1919. On August 18, 1920 she was united in marriage to Herman O. Anderson. To this union three children were born. They lived in the Osceola and Shelby communities until 1931, when they moved to Stromsburg. She lived there until the time of her death.

She was baptized and united with the Stromsburg Baptist Church in 1951. She has been active in the church and its organizations, and at the present time was serving as deaconess. She was busy and active in the community life and loved her work at the Midwest Covenant Home.

Preceding her in death was her husband and infant son. Funeral services were held on May 12,1972 at the Stromsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Reynold Hamrin in charge.
