Ellwood City - Harry E. Barnhart, 65, of 1114 Lawrence Ave., died at 11 a.m. yesterday in his home after a two-week illness. He was born in Butler County Feb. 9, 1908 to Mrs. Sadie Schlagel Barnhart and the late John Barnhart. He retired in 1964 from the national Plumbing Fixtures Corp. where he had 17 years-service and was in the skimming department. Mr. Barnhart was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a social member of the Ellwood City Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth M. McCollum; his mother of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Joyce) Woroszylo of Ellwood City, Miss Gloria at home; a brother, Merle of Arlington, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. John (Ethel) Turner of Freeport, Mrs. Bernard (Myrtle) Oesterling of East Butler, Mrs. Chester (Janet) Aspelin of Butler and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Kenneth C. Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth St., from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Harold W. Woods of the Immanuel United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
