Ruth M. Barnhart, 75, 1114 Lawrence Ave., Ellwood City, died at her residence at 5 a.m. June 21, 1994. Born in New Castle on Jan. 11, 1919, she was a daughter of Alexander L. and Lyda Wyant McCollum. Her husband Harry E. Barnhart, died Dec. 16, 1973. Mrs. Barnhart was a former member of Immanuel United Church of Christ of Ellwood City and belonged to the Eagles auxiliary for many years. She was a graduate of New Castle High School. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Joyce) Woroszylo of Ellwood City and Gloria Barnhart, at home, and five grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson Ronald Barnhart, and a sister, Edna Lemmon. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Turner Funeral Home, 500 Sixth St., Ellwood City. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Turner's by the Rev. Robert P. Hines Jr., pastor of Calvin Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver County.

Mrs. Ruth M. Barnhart, 75, of 1114 Lawrence Ave. died at her residence at 5 a.m. today, Tuesday, June 21, 1994. Although ill, death was unexpected. She was born in New Castle Jan. 11, 1919, to the later Alexander L. and Lyda Wyant McCollum. She was a former member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Ellwood City. She was a graduate of New Castle High School and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary since 1956. Mrs. Barnhart was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Barnhart. He died Dec. 16, 1973. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Stanley (Joyce) Woroszylo of Ellwood City and Gloria Barnhart at home. She is also survived by five grandchildren Daniel and John Barnhart of New Castle and Tracy and Brian Woroszylo of Ellwood City and Mrs. Leland (Michele) Klohn of Freemont, Ohio. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one grandson Ronald Barnhart who died in 1974 and a sister Edna Lemmon. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Turner Funeral Horne and a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert P. Hines Jr., pastor of Calvin Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Big Beaver Borough. The Eagles Auxiliary will meet at 7:15p.m. Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Home to conduct a service at 7:30p.m.
