A funeral for Mrs. Lutie Pryor Shaw, 74, will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Decatur at 3 p.m. today with burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Shaw, a resident of Decatur, died Wednesday night at the Decatur General Hospital.
She was the daughter of Charles Hays Patton and Lucy (Lutie) Pickett Patton and was born near Florence.
Mrs. Shaw was active in the First Presbyterian Church, being a member of the board of Presbyterian Home for Children at Talladega. She was also a member of number of patriotic societies.
She is survived by a son, Luke Pryor IV, Rt. 1, Tanner; a brother, Robert Patton of New Orleans; ;and four grandchildren.
