She married Adolf Bader on March 24, 1888 at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her former marriage was to C. R. Hutchinson, whom she divorced in 1887.
She applied for admission to the Orting Soldiers' Home in October 1917. She was 74 years of age at that time and was the wife of Adolph Bader. He had served in the Civil War and had been a Private in Company K, 13th Illinois Infantry.
In April 1921, the couple requested moving to Retsil. She died December 20, 1924 and is buried in the Home cemetery. Mr. Bader died March 16, 1928 while on furlough away from the home; his burial place is not known.
