John A Kellenbarger
CROOKSVILLE -- John A
Kellenbarger, 80, of Newark, a
retired Crooksville Waterworks
superintendent, died Thursday
afternoon in Licking County
Memorial Hospital.
Born October 17, 1892, at
Bremen, he was the son of
George and Lydia Stemen
Kellenbarger, and served in the
first world war. His wife, Agnes
Metger Kellenbarger,
preceeded him on death in 1954.
Surviving are four sons,
Charles W of Columbus,
Lawrence of Newark Route 5,
John J of Eaton and Robert
L of Newark; two daughters,
Mrs Marcella Lewis of
Crooksville Route 1 and Mrs
Madonna Argood of Columbus;
six grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30
a m Monday at Our Lady of
Mt Carmel Catholic Church at
Buckeye Lake and burial will
be in New Lexington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
Eagan Funeral Home at
Newark, 7 to 9 p m Saturday,
and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m
Sunday. the Rosary will be
recited at 8 p m Sunday.
