Abraham, aka Abram, was the son of John Spitler and Mary Catherine Barb and had seven siblings. He married his first wife, Caroline Marie Blake on 20 of Feb. 1846. Together they had three Children. Caroline's death was around 1851. Abraham then married Elizabeth Cook Poole in 1852. Together they had at least six children. Elizabeth died in 1894.
