"Lizzy" was married to Francis Wright Bolin circa 1871 probably in Mt. Vernon, Titus County, Texas. Franklin County lines were drawn in March 1875 and carved out of it's parent county, Titus. Mount Vernon was named as the County seat of Franklin County on April 30, 1875.
Matilda passed away just five months after her 22nd birthday, on 16 October 1874, and was buried at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery, (now) Franklin County, Texas.
