Henry "Cecil" Butler was born in Renner, Texas. (This site didn't find a county for this city)

Son of Houston Butler and Alice Lamb.
aka: Cecil, was first married to Mabel Melvina Dupont, June 5, 1920 in Springfield, MA. Mabel and Cecil left Springfield, MA and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1926 where Cecil was an auto salesman. They then moved to Shreveport, LA, where Cecil worked for a Ford dealership as an auto salesman. They divorced in Shreveport, LA 1928.

June 5, 1920, Henry Cecil Butler was listed a a Auto Mechanic.
Residence: 657 Main St., Springfield, Ma. (Hotel Case)
Age: 22
First Marriage
Birthplace: Renner, Texas
Father: Houston Butler
Mother: Alice Lamb
Married by J.M. Bissonnette, Priest
Springfield, Ma.
(I assume they married in St. Joseph's Church, Springfield, MA. Many documents from St. Joseph that I found had this same priest J.M. Bissonnete listed.)

(In 1920 Henry Cecil Butler couldn't have been 22 yrs old,
he may have been 18 or 19 yrs old according to his year of birth of 1902) Seems he changed the year he was born to 1900 according the the Social Security Death index.

Springfield, Ma. City Directory, Springfield Historical Library;

1922-Butler, Henry C. policeman, h 96 Bond St. Spfld.,Ma.
1923-1924-Butler, Henry C. (Mabel) policeman, h 96 Bond St. Spfld.,Ma.
1925-Butler, Henry C. (Mabel) salesman, 648 State, Spfld.Ma. h 96 Bond St. Spfld.,Ma.
1926-Butler, Henry C. (Mabel) removed to Texas.

I assumed Cecil died in his homestate of Texas or Louisanna. His parents were living in Dallas, TX in the 1930 Federal Census.

I was informed that Cecil was alive for his father's funeral in 1959, as he attended this funeral in Richardson, TX. He may have been residing in New Orleans, LA or Lake Charles, LA. at this time. Told to me by Cecil's great niece, Kay Butler Ellis.
