Born in Hooper, Utah, January 13, 1911, the daughter of James Gilbert Belnap and Chloe May Beus. She married Philip Jacobson April 23, 1932. He died June 2, 1994.
Hilda worked for 40 years in the printing industry. She was an active member of the LDS Church, living her entire adult life in the Whittier (Browning) Ward where she was particularly fond of the years she spent working with the Primary children. She was a member of the Whittier Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and volunteered hundreds of hours at the Holy Cross Hospital.
Survived by son: Douglas (Mae); grandson, Steve; granddaughter, Stacey (Roger) Andreasen; four brothers and one sister. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
