Tomasita C. Lopez, age 81, passed away in the Trigg Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening, April 15, 2009 .
Tomasita was born May 7, 1927, in Tucumcari, NM. She had been an active member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church and was active in the Blue Army and the Sacred Heart Society of St. Anne's. She was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Surviving Tomasita Lopez is her daughter, Mary Esther Apodaca and husband, Rudy of Tucumcari, NM;� two sons, Albert Lopez and wife, Alice of Tucumcari, NM, and Alfred Lopez and wife, Judy of Espanola, NM; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Lopez in 2007.
�Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM in the St. Anne's Catholic Church.� Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Monday morning beginning at 10:00 AM in the St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Father Hyginus Anuta as celebrant. Pall bearers will be Alfred Lopez II, Luciano Lopez, Thomas Apodaca, Matias Trujillo, Gabriel Garcia and Andrea Apodaca.� Interment will be in the family plot of the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
