Graveside services for Whysong Ara "Meme" Winterrowd, 82, of Lubbock will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Van Perryman, pastor of South Plains Christian Fellowship, officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, at St. John Lutheran Hospital in Libby, Mont.

She was born Sept. 27, 1916, in Beechgrove, Tenn. She resided in Lubbock from 1942 to 1982 and owned a dog grooming shop for many years. She was also affiliated with the Assemblies of God as a pastor. She married Clarence Winterrowd in December 1943. He died in November 1978. In 1981, she moved to Troy, Mont.

Survivors include a son, Paul of Troy, Mont.; a stepdaughter, Lola Joy Norris of Elk City, Okla.; two sisters, Ruth Earp of Lubbock and Lillian McLane of Ralls; two grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
