He was born circa 1831-33; in probably Madison County, Indiana. He died 1865-70; in probably Madison County, Indiana. He was a farmer.

He was six feet tall; had blue eyes; dark hair; and dark complexion.

Civil War Union; He joined the Army on 10 FEB 1864 at Anderson, Madison County, IN; mustered in Company B of the 130th Indiana Infantry on 20 MAR 1864 at Kokomo, IN; mustered out on 02 DEC 1865 at Charlotte, North Carolina, as a private.

He spent the bulk of his hitch in the hospital with one of the camp diseases. I'm not sure he didn't die of it, because he died 65-70.
