DIES MONDAY
Maury Avery, 82, route 3 Elwood died Monday at Curtisville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Curtisville Cemetery, Frday may call at Mitcherll Funeral Home anytime.
The deceased was brn July 15, 1887 in Curtisville, the son
of John and Mary Avery. He was married May 22, 1937 in
Tipton to Hattie Parr. A retired carpenter and employee of
Carnegie Steel Corp. in Gary, the deceased attended school in Curtisville.
Surviving with the wife are two children. Anita Ippolite of Gary and Fred Avery of Indianapolis; three brothers, Ray of Venice, Fla., Wayne, Largo, Fla., and Byron of Gary and a sister, Lucile Gunning of Clearwater, Fla. Five grandchildren also survive.
