John Peter Schwebach, 61, of St. Paul, died at the Anker hospital in that city Thursday morning after a lingering illness. He was the son of Mrs. Susan Schwebach of Caledonia. He is survived by his mother, wife and two children, Mrs. Wilard (Virginia) Conoryea and Lawrence of St. Paul; three grandchildren and four sisters, Margaret of Caledonia; Mrs. F. J. (Lena) Billow, Decorah, Iowa; Mrs. Frank (Anna) Webber, DeRidder, La.; and Mrs. Mary Demmer, Winona. one sister and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a. m. at the Cathedral with interment in the Catholic cemetery.

John, a college graduate, was a salesman for Lohemann Chuch supplies. Traveled down the Mississippi, wife Corinne traveled with him, daughter Virginia was born in Memphis. Also he was a salesman for Heinz foods. Prior to his death he had been employed by Koppers Coke Inc. for the past 17 years as a crusher operator. He was a resident of St. Paul since 1906.
