BOGATA--Tullie Burns,66, of Bogata died Sunday, Feb 13, at McCuistion Medical Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 15, at the First Baptist Church in Bogata with the Rev. Garvon Golden and the Ev. Bob Posey officiating. Burial will be in McCrury Cemetery by Bogata Funeral Home.
Mr Burns was born Nov. 7,1916, in Cunningham, a son of Henry and Mae Anderson Burns. He married Leora Young on May 10, 1935, in Bogata. He was a retired construction worker.
Surviving are his wife;a daughter, Mrs. Frances Miears of Midland;one brother Edgar Burns of Lone Star;two sisters; Mrs. Dave Collins of Denton and Mrs. Kitty Evans of Mount Vernon;five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends fron 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
