Mrs. Robbie Maddox Pope, 63, widow of Elton B. Pope, died today while visiting a sister in Kite, Ga. She moved to Brunswick from Dublin 32 years ago and resided at 1606 Reynolds Street.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Walker Honea, Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Louis L. Lynn, St. Simons Island, Mrs. Frank L. Herring, Brunswick; one son, Daniel W. Pope, Albany; four sisters, Mrs. C.M. Sheppard, Wrightsville, Mrs. H.D. Garnto, Dublin, Mrs. C.L. Wheeler, Kite, Mrs. Grady Morris, Vidalia; four stepdaughters, Mrs. William Smith, Denmark, S.C., Mrs. Cecil Hattaway, Macon, Miss Mildred Pope, Augusta, Mrs. Colon Lipthratt, Brunswick; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pope was a member of McKendree Methodist Church, where services will be conducted by the Rev. Raymond Wilder, assisted by the Rev. W.M. Philippe, Sr., at 3 p.m. tomorrow with the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The body will remain in the funeral home until 2 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be Herman W. Folsom, Ralph E. Moore, Mitchell E. Owens, Colon J. Cogdell, Phil S. Ringel and W.G. Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Men's Bible Class of McKendree Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
