Emma Rose McGuire, age 86, of Sultan, died November 26, 2002 in Monroe.
She was born September 25, 1916 in Turtle Lake, ND. She worked for Pacific Trail for 23 years and Eddie Bauer clothing manufacturer for several more years, in Seattle. Emma married James McGuire on September 15, 1950. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Sultan.
Survivors include her sisters, Ann Jolly of Mesa, AZ; Martha Tweeten of Washburn, ND, Helen Hintz of Portland, OR, Ellen Jonker of Sultan, Vi Lentz of Everett; one brother, Leon Mehrer of Sawyer, ND; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, her son Thomas, her parents, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Sultan Cemetery. Memorial services will he held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Sultan Basin Road, Sultan.
