Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Mae Quattlebaum 71 will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in Huer Street Baptist Church of Weatherford Oklahoma. Rev. Jerry D. Bradley, pastor and Rev. James Allbritton Pastor of the Journey Baptist Church of Amarillo Texas, will officiate.

Burial will be in New Hermon Cemetery near Leedey, Ok.

She died Monday evening in Southwestern Memorial Hospital.

Mrs.Quattlebaum was born in Leedey Feb 5 1903. She graduated from Leedey High School and attened Southwestern and Northwestern State College and Oklahoma University before beginning her teaching career in 1920.

She was married to Howard William Quattlebaum in Leedey April 30 1924.

She taught school in Aleido, Moorewood, Kiowa, Cheyenne, Moore and Crooked Oak before retiring in 1967 and moving to Weatherford, Ok.

She had been failing in health for the past six months and had been confined to Southwestern Memorial Hospital for the past eight days.

She was a member of the Huber Street Baptist Church, KKI, Retired Teachers Association of Custer County and the
Harmony Extension Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her husband Howard of the home; one sister Mrs.Eunice Martin of Butler; one brother Elmer Albritton of Tucson, Ariz. and serveral neices and nephews.
