Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Nettie McNinch Thies were held yesterday morning at 10 from the late residence, Rev. A.A. McGeachy officiating, assisted by Rev. D.H. Rolson. A quartet consisting of Mrs. Thomas C. Guthrie, Mrs. Harvey Bryan, Mr. O.M. Norwood and Mr. Cyril Baxtresser rendered two appropriate selections. Conspicuous among the many lavish floral designs was a cross of white roses, swansea and ferns, the gift of the Charlotte Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. A crescent from the Woman's Club was also prominent.
