Fred was a member of the US Air Force from l946 to l948. He served in Japan. After coming home he worked at Sears, GE in Wabash and then for Bell Fibre Products from l95l in Marion until l965 and moved to Grand Rapids, Mich. plant in l965. He was with the company over 39 years.Liked to travel and belonged to a Coachman Camping Club in Grand Rapids.
