He retired from General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of service.
He served his country in the US Air Force.
He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years and he was the Voyageur group instructor. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his Wife: Wanda C. (Fields ) Ringer of Cleveland, Tennessee. Daughter: Deborah & husband Jessie Hammock of Anderson. Sons: Todd A. Ringer of Cleveland, Tennessee. Timothy Francis & wife Dee Francis of Marietta, Georgia. Scott & wife Kimberly Francis of Somerset, Kentucky. Fourteen grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Mary Silvers of Kokomo. Carol Ann Adams of Fort Wayne. Brother: Kenneth Ringer of Fort Wayne. Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.
