Born in Pilzno, Rzeszow, Poland, he immigrated in 1889.
He was married to Tekla Bielska at St. Joseph's Church, Webster, MA by Father Chalupka.
He was naturalized in 1913. He worked as a Carder in the Woolen Mills in the 1920's. He was a peddler, selling fruits and vegetables in the Dudley/Webster area.
He was the father of 12 children. His nine sons formed their own baseball team.
