Daughter of John Smith Miller and Mary Frances Hardin Miller. Born in Tompkinsville, Monroe County Kentucky.
'Aunt Ella' had a beautiful soul. My father's first cousin, no trip home to Monroe County was complete without staying with or visiting Aunt Ella on the old Miller Farm.
No one I ever knew could put on a such a tasty and varied spread in such short order as she could. The hours spent combing the plowed fields for arrowheads or exploring the Miller Cave are some of my most precious childhood memories. The farm is no longer in the family and the old house, long abandoned, is slowly decaying, but I still stop and visit everytime I am there. (Dale Hardin)
