RURAL RESIDENT DIES SATURDAY
Mrs. Stella Caldwell, 77 Jackson route four resident, died at Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. She had been in failing health for the past three years.
A native and lifelong resident of Jackson county, she was born on July 11, 1880, a daughter of the late Samuel and Emma Yerian Caldwell.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Mayfield White of Jackson route four.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Mayhew Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Dwight A. Bolce officiating and burial will follow in Fairmount cemetery under direction of the Mayhew Funeral Directors.
