Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria.
Survivors are his widow; a step-son, Johnny Dubois, and a son, Garth Branch, both of Houston; six sisters, Mrs. Odell Lemoine of Opelousas, Mrs. Verda Bonnette of West Monroe, and Mrs. Christine Gulledge, Mrs. Vera Bordelon, Mrs. Neda Rhodes, and Mrs. Esther Rhodes, all of Montgomery; and two brothers, Cargle Branch of Montgomery, and Hubert Branch of Baton Rouge.
