Mrs. Nita Rhoden, 60, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in a Pineville hospital. She was a resident of Montgomery.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Rhoden of Montgomery; one son, Eugene Rhoden of Pasadena, Tex.; two brothers, Cargyle Branch of Montgomery and Hubert Branch of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Mrs. J. O. Bordelon and Mrs. Christine Gulledge, both of Montgomery, Mrs. Verdie Barnett of Monroe and Mrs. Odell Lemoine of Opelousas and one grandson, Scott Eugene Rhoden of Pasadena, Tex.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in a Mount Zion Baptist church near Montgomery with Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The remains are at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Friday.
