Austin Mearl Hall, 86, of Buckhannon and formerly of Petersburg, died Oct. 29, at his residence.
Born Oct. 29, 1915, in Hardy County, he was the son of the late Augusta "Gus" Reedy and Edna Clara (Rumers) Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eunice V. (Barb) Hall; five sons, Marvin Hall and Raymond Hall, both of Buckhannon, Austin Hall Jr. of Piney, Norman Hall of Martinsburg and Roger Hall of Antioch; two daughters, Mae Arnold of Grafton and Hope Harper of Buckhannon; two brothers, Glenn Hall of Petersburg and Clifton Hall of Elkton, Md.; two sisters, Ruth Swick of Petersburg and Susan George of Kearneysville; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Nov. 1, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, with interment in Newhouse Cemetery, Rig. (11/6)
