Beth Nezat, 80, a resident of Lincoln Parish for 72 years who moved to Ascension Parish in Nov. 2001, peacefully passed away on April 4 at home in Prairieville.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws Terry and Debby Nezat of Houma, David and Amy Nezat of Richardson, Texas, and one daughter and son-in-law Susie and Bubba Richard, as well as four grandsons, Jarrod "JJ" and wife Mariana Nezat, and Quinn "Opie" and wife Courtney Richard, James Nezat and Colton Allen, two great-grandchildren, Ale and Gabriel, and sister Barbara Theodus.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Joe Nezat, four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8-10 a.m. Wednesday at Owens Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Services begin at the chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday and burial will follow at Tulip Cemetery.
