Norway - Eldon P. Garrick, 79, of Norway, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital after two years of declining health. He was the son of the late Lewis P. and Cornelia Davis Garrick. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Nina Hutto Spires Garrick.; four daughters, Mrs. W. J. McMillian of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Paul Gibson of Norway and Mrs. Bruce Whetstone and Mrs. Raymond Dunn of Columbia; four sons, Henry Brabham Garrick of Norway, Erie J. Garrick of Orangeburg and Howard Garrick of St Louis, Mo., and Eueldon Garrick of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Corrie Sandifer of McCormick and Emma Lou Steverson of Cape Charles, Va.; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral sevices will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wenesday from the Bethel Baptist Church by the rev. D. H. Gillam and the Rev. Ray Williams. © The State, Columbia, SC, 24 Sep 1959
