Thomas DeVault --
Thomas DeVault, aged 78, died Friday morning at nine o'clock at his home near Farmington after being ill about a week with pneumonia. Mr. DeVault was born in Belmont county and has lived here all his life. He has been a farmer, raising mostly garden truck, until a few years ago. Of late he has been living a retired life, part of the time at his farm near Farmington and part of the time in Martins Ferry. Although he lived a quiet life, he was well known throughout the county and was highly respected.
He leaves a wife and four children. The children are as follows: Two daughters, Emma at home and Mrs. John Paxtson of Brookside; two sons, Charles DeVault of Barton and David DeVault of Flushing.
