Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Dumas died Friday at Union General Hospital after a short illness.
He was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church, a lifelong resident of Union Parish, and he was retired from Public Works City of Monroe.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Dumas of Farmerville, Devon Dumas of Clara, Miss., and Charles E. Dumas of Ruston; three daughters, Mrs. Alva Ann Duke and Mrs. Betty June Hammons, both of Ruston, and Mrs. Caorline Greenlee of Dallas; three brothers, Ethan Dumas of Bastrop, and Mose Dumas and Lester Dumas, both of Farmerville, four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Bennett of Farmerville, Mrs. Bernice Jones of Bastrop, Mrs. Gladys Dean, of Keithville, and Mrs. Cecile Kirchner of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronie Dumas, Terry Dumas, Nickey Dumas, John Craighead, Jimy Craighead, and Mark Holtzclaw.
