OBITUARIES -- LENA WERNER --

Mrs. Lena Emma Werner, 89, of Amherst, died March 26 at Amherst Manor after a long illness.
She was born in Oak Harbor, Ohio, January 26, 1896, and lived in Amherst the past 76 years.
She formerly worked a clerk for 25 years at the Bodman dry good store in Amherst before retiring in 1958.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, John A.; son, Norman M. of Grafton; daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Betty) Heck of Amherst, three grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Olga Redman of Amherst.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial fund St. Paul Lutheran Church.
The Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, was in charge of arrangements.
