Also, her Uncle John Kerr, died 1880, is buried at Old Monmouth Churchyard, nearby.
The Rockbridge Co. VA Death Register, says Sallie Belle Dunlap, died 19 Aug 1917, in Rockbridge Co., VA, aged 65 years, 9 months and 27 days, daughter of Thomas Kerr and Nancy Patton, born 22 Oct 1851 in Rockbridge Co., VA. The informant was S. M. Dunlap of Lexington, and she was buried at New Monmouth. Her VA Death Cert. #21025 adds she died in Kerrs Creek. .
