Mrs. Rosabel O. Westgate, 82, of Wenatchee, died Wednesday morning in a local nursing home following an extended illness.
She was born July 9, 1894, in Portsmouth, Ohio. On Feb 4, 1912, she was married to James B Westgate in Marenisco, Mich.
They came to Washington State in 1922, settling at Leavenworth. In 1923 they moved to California. The following year they returned to Washington, settling at New Blewett on Peshastin Creek. Since 1944 Wenatchee had been their home. Mr. Westgate preceded her in death on April 22, 1962.
Mrs. Westgate was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Adam C Westgate, Wenatchee; one brother Earl Odle, Mabton; two sisters, Mrs. William (Venita) Lawson, East Wenatchee and Mrs. Mary Guffey, Mabton; one grandson and one great-grandson.
Services are announced by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
