Elvie Lee Watson

Mrs. Elvie Lee Watson, 97, of Little Rock. Ark., died January 15, 1999 at Southwest Hospital in Little Rock Ark. of a stroke.

A homemaker, she was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She was the widow of Mr. Elzie Pollock Watson. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Neal.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18 at New Haven Baptist Church near Weir with Rev. Bobby Parish officiating. Burial was in the New Haven Cemetery in Weir.

She is survived by a son, Waylon R. Watson of Alexander, Ark.; three sisters, Verlie King of Indianola and Ruby Miles of Sevierville, Tenn.: a brother, Wesley Neal of Guntown; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Don Chandler, Ken Chandler, Tom Jenkins, Brewer Henson, Harvey Ware and Carroll Turner.

Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
