Alex Alvin Adams, 86, retired plumber, died Sunday at Choctaw County Nursing Home in Ackerman. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Adams- Nowell Funeral Home with burial in New Haven Cemetery in Choctaw County.
He was a member of Greenhill Primitive Baptist Church.
Adams, the husband of Ella Faye Adams of Weir , also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Lela McDill of Brandon, Mrs. Patricia Jane Davis of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Lora Jean Gray of Vicksburg; three sons, James D. Adams and Jim A. Adams, both of Ackerman, and Thomas A. Adams of Citronelle, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Jewell Bright of Homestead, Fla., and Mrs. Opal Hartely of Pascagoula; two brothers, Seth B. Adams of Forrest and William B. Adams of Jackson, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
