Roy was the seventh and last child of George William and Celestia Jane Richardson Barnard.
Roy, the seven-year-old son of Mrs. Geo. Barnard, died at his residence of his mother on the farm four miles northwest of Mulhall, of diphtheria, Thursday morning, November 16. Roy was a bright active boy and will be greatly missed. The funeral took place from the residence Thursday afternoon and the body was buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
