35th Wedding Aniversary Poem
As we gather here in remembrance of long ago comes the thought of all that happened in the little cabin low. While all round all things were merry as the hearts of they that waited and listened for the words the parson thus related.Timothy Lynch and Louisa Paddock, I pronounce you man and wife, may the sweetest of God's blessing rest upon your future life surely as we think it over, we must say his prayers were heeded as we see them blooming rosy in a home most loved and needed.Thirty-five years! Yes that is a long time, but let us look back and think of all of the joys they must have had, intermingled with sorrow's link, pure is the life thy have lived in their pleasant home, ready to lend a hand to help those in need and comforting those who not so long after all, they remember, now they reached life's glory ready to protect the family. Recorded upon God's book alone, three boys and eight girls do the children make, but we are nine instead of eleven now. Two precious girls have gone long ago, to their beautiful home in heaven, Stella our sweet still precious girl, how well we all remember passed to her lovely home beyond on last day of December we robed her in a pure white shroud that she might wear forever instead of the fair bridal robe, she that day was to wear, but oh! never. Nellie, Dollie, Mayme and Maud from us have gone, and sought their home with others fair, While Rose and Dennis are away at school to view the world its face to stare. Artie and Willie are still at home beside their parent's dear, to help comfort their dear hearts, and wipe away the sad tear. Then comes our precious little Pearl who came just for a short stay; twelve months we loved her tenderly, and then God took her away. Cora the baby of them all, is the flower sent to cheer and comfort them in their old age, when life will be most dear.

Kind parents you have always lived a life of purest pleasure; and may you thus continue on. With us our dearest treasure be ever cheerful, kind and true, as you have always been, and God will your protector be, and your souls the ransom win.
