Daniel W. Poore Age 24. Residence Mt. Ayr, Iowa nativity Indiana. Enlisted Aug. 9, 1862 into Co G 29th Iowa Infantry, as Second Corporal. Mustered Nov. 18, 1862 Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Discharged for disability March 11, 1863, St. Louis, MO.

Daniel and 2 brothers, John M(26) and Alvan M(20) along with cousin Thomas B(21), all enlisted same day into Co G 29th Iowa Infantry. Thomas died of disease Mar 16 1863 Memphis,TN. John and Alvan both survived the war.
