Mary Jane Pate, 79, widow of Edmund Pate, died Saturday at St. Luce Hospital, New Bedford MA after a short illness.
She was born in England, but, went to New Bedford, MA where she operated a boarding house.
For 33 years, however, she had been living in Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach, but, had been making her home with her son, Herbert Brown at New Bedford recently.
The body is at F. X. Emond Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday afternoon. Internment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Biddeford.
